Design apps and technology I use

I have a 2024 Mac Mini M4 running the latest version of macOS. Apps I find indispensable to my work include:

• The Affinity Suite, specifically Affinity Publisher
• Pixelmator Pro for image editing
• Obsidian for keeping notes
• A Notion database for record keeping

Although I prefer these applications above, I have experience in these programs as well:

• Scribus, a free and open source page layout app I wholeheartedly recommend.
• The Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Adobe InDesign, which is not worth the subscription for my use case.
• QuarkXPress

In the past I've designed all sorts of things using these computers:

• A 2021 MacBook Pro M1
• A 2016 MacBook Pro
• A 2009 MacBook Pro
• A 2005-era Toshiba laptop running Windows 7
• A 1999-era desktop computer running Windows 2000 and Windows XP
